Anyone wishing to operate a restaurant business requires a permit (Section 2 of the Restaurant Act)

The permit is issued by the Landratsamt Würzburg -Gewerberecht-, Zeppelinstr. 15, 97074 Würzburg erteilt.

Obligation to notify tissue according to § 14 of the Trade Regulations

Auszug aus § 14 Absatz 1 der Gewerbeordnung:

"(1) Any person who operates the independent operation of a standing trade or the operation of a branch office
       or a dependent branch, this must be reported to the competent authority for the location in question.

Business registrations must always be reported to the local authority, in whose municipal area the business premises are located.
The place of residence of the trader is not relevant here.

Business notifications must be made if:
- operation within the municipal area relocated becomes and/or
- the object of the trade changed or on goods or services extended will,
  which are not customary for commercial enterprises of the registered type.

Business deregistrations are required if:
- the company abandoned becomes
- (this also includes if the business is continued by another person, e.g. through sale,
  which in turn must then register),
- the business moves to another location, to another municipal area relocated becomes
  (here the business must be deregistered at the "old" location and registered at the "new" location).

The administrative fee for business registration, business re-registration or business deregistration
amounts to 25,00 Euro each.

Depending on the type of business, other or additional licensing procedures may be required:
- in the case of a restaurant, e.g. a restaurant permit
- in the case of a traveling trade, e.g. a traveling trade card
- etc.

The Central Trade Register is a centralized procedure managed by the Federal Ministry of Justice.

The application for an extract from the central trade register is made at the town hall/trade office in person or by an authorized person.

An extract from the central trade register costs 13.00 euros.
