In addition to public holidays and weekends, the kindergarten is closed on a maximum of 30 days a year.
The exact closing days are announced in the fall of each year for the following calendar year.

Location

Our forest kindergarten is located in the "Am Steinig" forest area, which is part of the Rimpar forest. The forest area runs along a cycle path towards Waldhaus Einsiedel in Gramschatzer Wald and borders directly on the villages of Rimpar, Maidbronn, Gramschatz and Burggrumbach. 
You will find us near the outskirts of Rimpar in the direction of Burggrumbach. Shortly after the supermarket in Burggrumbacher Straße 1, an agricultural and cycle path turns off to the left. After approx. 1,000 m, this will lead you to our idyllic forest clearing.

 Equipment

The everyday life of the Waldgeister kindergarten takes place mainly in nature. In order to be able to experience this intensively all year round, there is no permanent building.
The morning circle area is at the center of the kindergarten. This is framed by two construction trailers. The red construction trailer is used as an office and houses the children's property boxes. In addition, a former circus tiger cage has been lovingly converted and is now available as a group room on cold days. Both construction trailers can be heated by wood-burning stoves.
The central forest area also houses a materials container, a bag house, a compost toilet and various play areas. 
From the forest square, various forest paths invite you to explore: whether sunbathing meadow, toboggan hill or mud slide - nature offers a variety of play opportunities and invites you to discover.

Die zunehmende Entfremdung unserer Gesellschaft von der Natur zieht immer mehr Umweltzerstörung nach sich. Was unsere Gesellschaft braucht, sind deshalb Kinder, die ganzheitlich gefördert werden. Ziel ist es, sie zu verantwortungsvollen Menschen heranreifen zu lassen, die es
verstehen, nachhaltig in und mit der Natur zu Leben.
Durch das intensive Erleben der Jahreszeiten lernen Waldkindergartenkinder das Leben in und mit der Natur hautnah kennen. Die Kindergartenzeit ist der ideale Zeitraum, in dem Naturerfahrungen besonders einprägsam sind und so ein lebenslanges intensives Verhältnis zur Natur ermöglichen.

Zentrales Element unserer Pädagogik im Waldkindergarten ist das Urspiel. Damit ist das kindliche Spiel mit unbearbeiteten Naturmaterialien gemeint, ohne das von den Erwachsenen irgendetwas vorgegeben wird. Dabei können die Kinder ihren Grundbedürfnissen begegnen und ihr kindliches Wesen vollständig ausleben. Für die Kinder ist das Urspiel der elementarste Zugang zur Natur und deswegen kommt ihm im Waldkindergartenalltag eine hohe Priorität zu.

Der Waldkindergarten ist ein kostenpflichtiges Betreuungsangebot des Marktes Rimpar.

Die Höhe der Kosten ist abhängig vom Nutzungsumfang und kann in der jeweils gültigen Gebührensatzung eingesehen werden.
