In addition to public holidays and weekends, the kindergarten is closed on a maximum of 30 days a year.

The exact closing days are announced in the fall of each year for the following calendar year.

The association-run kindergarten works according to the open concept, which means that there are no longer any group divisions or group leaders. All rooms in our facility are available to the children as functional rooms with different focal points as described above, so that they can freely choose their play and learning environment and decide for themselves which activities they would like to pursue based on their interests and needs. All the teachers at our facility are also available to the children as contact persons.

The kindergarten association is responsible for the kindergarten. With an annual contribution of 18 EUR, you contribute to the decisions of the kindergarten or appoint an elected representative. This association also makes us independent in our decisions, outside the municipal kindergartens.

In addition, a voluntary music lesson can be booked with Ms. Jordan at the Fröhlich Music School. Parents bear the full cost of this. Toffel accompanies the children into different worlds and themes. In addition to the lesson in class, the lessons can be continued at home with a simple glockenspiel and an interactive pen. The children meet in the kindergarten rooms and are not accompanied by staff during this time
