In Steigstraße in Maidbronn, the main sewer is being extended, and the property at Steigstraße 27, which is to be developed, is being connected with a new sewer and water pipe. To shorten the construction time, flowable fill (liquid soil) is being used for trench backfilling in Rimpar for the first time.
The sewer and water pipes have been laid from the street into the cul-de-sac, but the asphalt is still missing in the street.
The work is progressing a bit slower than planned due to the rocky ground.
The first cubic meters of flowable fill have already been installed.
Work was able to begin as planned on Monday, June 24, 2024, and the construction period is expected to be approximately 2 weeks.
The existing main sewer of Steigstraße, which ends at house no. 23/25, must be extended by approx. 25m.
Therefore, it is necessary to completely close Steigstraße at house number 25 for 1-2 weeks, meaning that through traffic at this location will no longer be possible. The usual „loop“ connecting Steigstraße and Riemenschneiderstraße will therefore be suspended for this period.
Work begins on June 19/20, 2024, with full closure starting on June 24, 2024, in the course of the morning.
However, the work will be scheduled in such a way that the garbage trucks can pass through as planned on June 24, 2024, and July 1, 2024. Since the collection is scheduled to take place first thing in the morning, we kindly ask that you place the bins at the usual location by Sunday evening, so nothing will stand in the way of collection.
The emergency services were also informed accordingly.
Depending on the construction progress, accessibility will be discussed directly on-site with the directly affected residents of Steigstraße 25 and 8.
