The town of Rimpar is the operating agency for all daycare centers in the Rimpar area.
On July 28, 2022, the market town council adopted the following bylaws for these daycare centers:

The kindergartens in Maidbronn and Gramschatz are run under independent management. Regarding their association statutes, please contact the respective board of directors.

Please submit the completed and signed applications on time (see bylaws) at your daycare center. The daycare center will forward your applications in a single batch to the municipal administration.

Dear Parents, we are pleased that you would like to enroll your child in a childcare program in our municipality. Starting immediately, you can easily register your childcare needs for all daycare centers in Rimpar, Maidbronn, and Gramschatz from the comfort of your own home via the Citizen Service Portal.

The registration period for the respective upcoming kindergarten year is annually from 01.03. – 31.03.
All children who are born between September and June of the following year must be registered during this period
Registrations for the new daycare year submitted before the start of the registration period will not be considered!
We do not accept new children in July and August. Please do not register your children for these months.
Please note:
If you need a daycare spot before the next daycare year, you can also use the daycare spot requirement registration outside of the registration period. Since all spots for the current daycare year are already taken, there may be longer waiting times under certain circumstances before we can admit your child.
Please proceed as follows to register your child for a childcare place:
Step 1: Set up Bayern ID
Stand up on the Bayernportal a personal mailbox, the so-called BayernID. We recommend registering via the option „Username&Password“. All feedback regarding the daycare center registration and allocation will be sent to you via this mailbox.
You need the login details to submit the registration for your child in the next step.
Step 2: Open childcare application
Open the Citizen Service Portal the market town of Rimpar and log in with your BayernID (top right).
You are now on the homepage of the daycare center registration and will be guided through the registration step by step from here.
Please use exclusively the „next“ and „back“ fields at the bottom of the page to „flip“ through the pages.
Step 3: Data Protection and General Information
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) thoroughly through and confirm them together with the privacy policy.
You will then be taken to the overview page of all municipal day-care facilities in Rimpar. If you have not yet informed yourself about the individual facilities, you can view a brief summary of them by clicking on the info icon on the right-hand margin of the page.
Step 4: Selecting the facilities
Select all care facilities that are an option for you and your family and click the „Apply selection“ button at the bottom of the page. In the next step, you can then prioritize the selected facilities.
Please note that you must register your child for at least two facilities, as we cannot always guarantee placement in your first priority.
Step 5: Prioritize the facilities
Your selected preferred facilities are now on your wishlist. You can change the priorities using the blue arrows on the right edge of the page. Please ensure correct prioritization, as we will try to fulfill your wishes. There is no automatic assignment to facilities based on proximity to your place of residence!
Once you are satisfied with your prioritization, click the „To requisition“ field at the bottom of the page.
Step 6: Enter personal data
Please enter your personal data now, making sure to carefully fill out all relevant fields. Subsequent changes are no longer possible. When allocating day-care center places according to statutory criteria, we can only consider the information you provide to us upon registration. Please try to estimate the required scope of care as realistically as possible. A change to the booked hours after the day-care place has been assigned is then only possible within the operating hours of the assigned facility and group.
Before your registration is finally submitted, a summary of your data will be displayed.
Once all data has been entered correctly, please confirm the declarations of consent at the bottom of the page and click the „Submit“ field.
Step 7: Sit back and wait
Thank you for your registration! You will now receive an automatic acknowledgment of receipt via your BayernID account.
Once the daycare spots have been allocated, you will receive an acceptance or rejection for the requested daycare spot via the same method.

2025_Closure_Days_KiGa Bachzwerge
To expand municipal childcare capacities, construction of the Bachzwerge day-care center began in 2022. Right on schedule for the 2023/2024 care year, the facilities on the site of the former nursery on Bachgasse were completed and occupied.

On the ground floor is the nursery area. The nursery groups „Lurche“ (Newts) and „Libellen“ (Dragonflies) each have a group room, a sleeping room, a bathroom with a changing area, and a cloakroom. The large hallway in the entrance area is designed to be interesting and varied for our youngest children, offering various play opportunities.
Additionally, the ground floor houses the director's office and a parent room, which is used during the initial separation attempts in the settling-in phase and for parent-teacher meetings.
On the first floor are the group rooms for the kindergarten children. The „Beavers“ and „Raccoons“ groups each have a creative room, a washroom, and a cloakroom. The spacious hallway offers many play and activity options that can always be adapted to the children's current needs. At the center of the hallway is the large kitchen, where cooking and baking take place with the children on special occasions.
On the first floor, there is also a large gym that all children can use for exercise sessions and movement courses.
Behind the building, a lovely outdoor play area is available for the children, inviting them to run around, dig, and climb.
Due to the secure access to the stream, the children have the opportunity in the summer, together with the staff, to fetch water and play with it.
The Bachzwerge daycare center operates according to the semi-open conceptt.
All children have a fixed place in their base group. This is where they start the day, have their designated primary educators, and meet daily for the morning circle. Birthday celebrations also take place in the base group. This makes it easier for the children to settle into the day-to-day routine of the daycare center and provides them with a certain structure and the associated sense of security.
After the morning circle, the group rooms are opened up. During this time, all rooms are available to the children. The children then decide which of these rooms they would like to use. Once they have successfully settled in, the kindergarten children can leave their groups on their own and have the opportunity to independently choose their play area and play partner.

During this time, we observe the children, grant them as much freedom as possible, but also offer assistance where needed. Semi-open work requires a clear set of rules that children can use as a guide. By opening up the rooms, our children learn to organize themselves and to weigh what is important to them at the moment.

2025_Closure_Days_KiTa Kunterbunt
The Kunterbunt kindergarten is located in the „Östlich des Schleifwegs“ residential area.
It was founded in October 1989 for four kindergarten groups.
In September 2004, the first Rimpar children's day nursery was opened at our location.
Currently, we care for children aged 1 year up to school entry in two nursery and two kindergarten groups.
We are a municipal kindergarten, part of the municipality of Rimpar and non-denominational.
Our mission is to care for, educate, and support the children entrusted to us.
Every child is individually supported in their educational process and development into an independent and cooperative personality. Along this path, we give children space and time, a sense of security and stability, trust and safety, freedom and boundaries.
Due to the modern world, we encounter children in kindergarten today with very different life experiences. Family structures are diverse, and children grow up in mixed-nationality and mixed-denominational families. Due to their parents' employment, they experience that the family is no longer the sole place of growing up. Therefore, we have set ourselves the goal of appropriately and purposefully supporting children in all steps of their development. Education and upbringing, as well as responsible and optimal care, are fundamental elements for us in fostering a child's development. Our entire educational work is guided by the Bavarian Education and Care Plan for Children in Day Facilities up to School Entry.

2025_Closure_Days_KiGa Rappelkiste
The Rappelkiste kindergarten was newly built in 1995/1996 to meet the increased demand for childcare places in the municipality. Initially designed solely as a kindergarten, the first nursery group followed in 2006.
Currently, the facility offers two kindergarten groups for children from 3 years of age until school entry, as well as three toddler groups for children from 1 to 3 years of age.
Nursery groups
The two nursery groups „Frogs“ and „Mice“ form a large nursery area on the ground floor. The third nursery group, „Hares,“ was able to move into new premises in the building's basement in 2014 following extensive renovation work.
Kindergarten groups
The „Butterflies“ group is located on the ground floor, while the second group, the „Bears,“ shares the upper floor with a large gym and a multi-purpose room.
All group rooms are designed entirely according to the children's needs and offer them the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities.
In each group room there are different play areas, such as a doll corner, construction corner, play tables, dining table, cozy corner, painting table, reading corner, experimentation corner, and a kitchenette.
In addition, each group has an intensive care room, a material room, a children's toilet, and a terrace or balcony.
Outdoor Area
The outdoor area offers plenty of space for movement and play. In the garden there are two play towers with a slide and climbing options, two sandboxes, a gazebo, playhouses, a water and mud play area, a seesaw, a climbing frame, and a swing.
Every year, the team and the children plant fruits and vegetables in their own raised bed. There is also a berry-snack corner and a cherry tree.
We are a municipal facility with a group-based concept.

We view ourselves as a family-supplementing institution and maintain regular communication with parents, our active parents' council, the sponsor, the other kindergartens in the town, specialist services, and the elementary school. This is based on mutual appreciation. We enter into an educational partnership with the parents.
We provide children with personal, social, and subject-specific competencies as a foundation for their lives. The basis of our educational work is the Bavarian Educational and Child-Rearing Plan. We ensure a strong bond between the children and us as their daily caregivers. For the children entrusted to us, we create an atmosphere of security and acceptance, and we accompany and support them in their development from the very beginning through professional observation and age-appropriate as well as individual educational offerings. Joy and laughter should not be in short supply in our facility!

2025_Closure_Days_KiGa Schlossmühle (As of June 4)
The Schlossmühlkindergarten is located in the center of the market town of Rimpar below Grumbach Castle. Due to its central location, it is easily accessible on foot.
We care for children from the age of three until they start school in two kindergarten groups, as well as children between the ages of one and three in a nursery group. The Kindergarten groups „Frogs“ and „Beetles“ each have their own group room with an adjoining side room that can be used as a creative room, but also as a retreat, and a raised gallery furnished as a doll's corner. In addition, each group has a washroom and a cloakroom. The large hallway offers many play and activity areas that are occasionally redesigned together with the children.
The nursery group „Küken“ has an adjoining sleeping room, a bathroom with changing facilities, and a cloakroom next to its group room. The entrance area is separated to be appropriate for the nursery group for our youngest children and offers additional space for play.
Since we are a shoe-free daycare in the winter and during bad weather, the children have an additional storage area in the foyer for their wet
Outdoor shoes. The large gym with a climbing wall serves as a movement room for all children. Our garden is directly accessible from all groups and offers plenty of open space for swinging, sliding, seesawing, and playing in the sandbox.

2025_Closure_Days_Forest_Kindergarten
Our forest kindergarten is located in the „Am Steinig“ forest area, which is part of the Rimpar forest. The forest area runs along a bicycle path toward the Einsiedel forest lodge in the Gramschatz forest and directly borders the towns of Rimpar, Maidbronn, Gramschatz, and Burggrumbach.
You can find us near the outskirts of Rimpar towards Burggrumbach. Shortly after the supermarket at Burggrumbacher Straße 1, an agricultural and bicycle path turns off to the left. After about 1,000 meters, this path will lead you to our idyllic forest clearing.
The daily routine of the Forest Spirits kindergarten takes place predominantly in nature. In order to be able to experience this intensively all year round, there is no permanent building.
At the center of the kindergarten is the morning circle area. This is framed by two construction trailers. The red construction trailer is used as an office and houses the children's personal storage boxes. In addition, a former circus tiger cage has been lovingly redesigned and is now available as a group room on cold days. Both construction trailers can be heated using wood-burning stoves.
In addition, the central forest clearing houses a material container, a bag house, a composting toilet, and various play areas.
From the forest clearing, various forest paths invite you to explore: whether it's the sun meadow, sledding hill, or mud slide – nature offers a wide variety of play opportunities and invites you to discover.
The increasing alienation of our society from nature leads to ever more environmental destruction. What our society needs, therefore, are children who are supported holistically. The goal is to help them grow into responsible individuals who can
understanding how to live sustainably in and with nature.
Through the intensive experience of the seasons, forest kindergarten children get to know life in and with nature firsthand. The kindergarten years are the ideal period during which nature experiences are particularly memorable, thus enabling a lifelong, intense relationship with nature.
The central element of our pedagogy in the forest kindergarten is primal play. This refers to children's play with unprocessed natural materials, without any adult intervention or preset rules. Through this, children can meet their basic needs and fully express their childlike nature. For the children, primal play is the most elemental access to nature, which is why it is given high priority in everyday forest kindergarten life.

The association-run kindergarten operates according to the open concept, meaning there are no longer any fixed groups with group leaders. All rooms in our facility are available to the children as functional rooms with various focal points (see above), allowing them to freely choose their play and learning environment and decide for themselves, based on their interests and needs, which activities they would like to pursue. Furthermore, all educators in our facility are available to the children as points of contact.

The kindergarten association is responsible for the kindergarten. With an annual contribution of 18 EUR, you help contribute to co-determining the kindergarten's decisions or electing a representative. This association also makes us independent in our decisions, outside of the municipal kindergartens.
Additionally, a music lesson through the Fröhlich Music School with Ms. Jordan can be booked voluntarily. The costs for this are borne entirely by the parents. For this purpose, Toffel accompanies the children into various worlds and themes. In addition to the lesson in class, the learning can be further deepened at home using a simple glockenspiel and an interactive pen. For this, the children meet in rooms at the kindergarten and are not accompanied by staff during this time.

2025_Closure_Days_KiHo_Strolche
Our municipal after-school care center was founded in September 2004 and is located directly next to the Matthias-Ehrenfried elementary school in Rimpar. In the three groups—Bengelchen, Lauser, and Schlawiner—up to 75 schoolchildren from the 1st to 4th grade can currently be cared for.

Outdoor play areas
Somewhat hidden behind our after-school daycare center is a small green outdoor play area that was spruced up in October 2020. Especially for the first and second graders, this playground offers the opportunity to play outside right after school, since we cannot use the schoolyard during that time. Equipped with a climbing frame, a nest swing, and a nice sandbox with sun protection
our little ones can let off steam there perfectly.
In worse weather, or if it has rained shortly before, however, the better solution is the elementary school's playground, since the asphalt surface dries considerably faster and the children can also use the various play options there, such as a climbing wall,
a balancing beam, a climbing frame, and a table tennis table. Skipping ropes, ball games, badminton, Frisbee, and Chinese jump rope are also available to the children.
In the old Neuen Siedlung gymnasium, we usually meet on Friday afternoons to play soccer. When the weather remains bad during the school break weeks, we also like to use the gym to let off some steam.
Our educational goals:
According to the Eighth Book of the Social Code, every child has a right to upbringing. Our after-school care center aims to fulfill this right in a special way. Through our educational work, we give the children in our care the opportunity to experience themselves, discover their own abilities, recognize their strengths and weaknesses, and accept them. Homework supervision:
Homework supervision plays a central role for us. First and foremost, we try to encourage the children to work independently. If difficulties arise, we support them and provide assistance. Whenever possible, we check the homework and have the children correct their mistakes themselves.
The homework supervision does not constitute individual support and is not to be understood as tutoring. The responsibility for the completeness and accuracy of the homework lies with the child and/or the parents.
There is no homework supervision at the facility on Fridays.
Holiday childcare:
During the school holidays, we provide all-day care for the children. Following lunch together, recreational activities are the main focus of our program, such as:

The after-school care center is a fee-based childcare service provided by the market town of Rimpar.
The amount of the costs depends on the extent of use and can be viewed in the currently applicable fee schedule.

The allocation of daycare places is handled centrally by the market town of Rimpar. All information regarding registration and the allocation procedure can be found in the second collapsible section at the top of this page.
On school days

The after-school care center is generally open year-round, both during the school term and during school holidays, from Monday to Friday. In addition to public holidays and weekends, the after-school center is closed for a maximum of 30 days per year.

Our municipal after-school care center moved into the premises next to the former Maximilian Kolbe School in January 2015. In the two after-school groups, Rasselbande and Wirbelwind, up to 50 schoolchildren from the 1st to 4th grade can currently be cared for.

Our educational goals
According to the Eighth Book of the Social Code, every child has a right to upbringing. Our after-school care center must and wants to fulfill this right in a special way. Our tasks include the care, education, and upbringing of the child. The „Tintenklecks“ after-school care center sees itself as a state-approved institution that supports and complements families.
By raising children to become independent and responsible individuals where each person, regardless of their performance, is accepted and respected, it is possible to create a place of security. We try to impart values and guidance to children of different cultures, ages, and genders. Tolerance, love, and recognition are just as important to us as the observance and acceptance of firm rules and structures in the daily routine. An important component of after-school care is the completion of homework. Fostering joy and curiosity in learning is a priority for us. Sufficient time for musical and aesthetic education, creativity, and the promotion of physical activity complements our concept.
„Everyone is a part of the whole“ and contributes with their skills, interests, and talents to making our after-school center an indispensable building block of our social and educational system.

Erasmus Programme
Our after-school center Tintenklecks is participating in the Erasmus program. For this, we have received certification from the European Union. Young volunteers from EU countries do their internships in both the youth center and the after-school center. For our children, this means developing an awareness of people from other cultures and their native languages. Of course, we only accept interns with a B1 level of German. Through this program, we are also fulfilling a cornerstone (intercultural relations/peace education) of our concept.

The midday care is offered during school hours. In addition, the midday care offers holiday care for a period of 4 weeks.
The exact closing days are announced in the autumn of each year for the following calendar year.
The lunchtime care facilities are located in the basement of the elementary school. In addition, the school's outdoor area is also used.
Just in time for the start of the 2021/22 school year, the market town of Rimpar created an additional care service for elementary school children.
The midday care is run by the municipality and ensures reliable supervision of the children after scheduled classes end. It is a care service focused on social and leisure-time education. There is no homework supervision.
The offer is aimed at all students in the 1st to 4th grade of the Matthias Ehrenfried Elementary School.

Depending on when school ends, the children arrive at the after-school care program independently. There, they are welcomed and greeted by the supervisors.
Meals are served flexibly because the children arrive at the after-school care at different times.
Whoever is hungry sits down at the dining table and eats the food they brought with them.
The so-called free play time takes place from 11:20 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. During this time, the children decide for themselves where and what they want to play. Various play areas, such as a construction corner or an art table, are available to them for this purpose. In addition, creative activities are regularly offered by the supervisors. When the weather is nice, the children spend a lot of time outdoors.
Please note: There is no homework supervision at the MiBe. Homework is also not allowed to be done during the supervision hours.
