Of Old Walls and New Paths
Anyone who clicks through the picture galleries below embarks on a little journey through time: from crooked half-timbered beams that have stood for centuries, to new buildings that haven't quite lost the scent of fresh paint. Some streets look almost frozen in time – as if nothing has changed for decades. Other views, however, make us smile: where a field used to be, rows of houses now line up, and the old tavern has long since become something entirely different.
Our photos show that Rimpar has never stood still – sometimes building upwards, sometimes tearing down, sometimes simply repaving. And always, in every picture, there is a piece of home that has changed yet remained familiar.
