Just as on Engelbert-Kraus-Straße in Rimpar, so-called „synergy effects“ between measures that are actually distinct from one another are also being leveraged on Albin-Jörg-Straße in Maidbronn.
To provide power to the new NETTO store, MFN had to cut open the sidewalk to lay a new power cable.
This project is now being used to install new power cables for the adjacent residential buildings on Albin-Jörg-Straße, as well as new lighting cables, and to erect new poles. The advantage of this is that, step by step, the overhead power lines can be removed from the roofs, and the street will be equipped with new lighting that provides better illumination.
Preparations are still underway, and the sidewalk is being filled in only temporarily in some places so that the fiber-optic work can be carried out later.
The company DDG is directly commissioned by Telekom to carry out the fiber optic connection of the Scheuerberg industrial area, i.e., Engelbert-Kraus-Straße, Technologiepark, and Gewerbe Ketteler Straße. This measure had already been planned before it was decided that the entire municipality of Rimpar would be supplied.
At short notice, Circet and MFN were brought on board, and a joint trench was constructed.
The following work has been or is being carried out in advance on the "straight section" of Ketteler Straße, from there to just past the beverage store:
+ Installation of fiber-optic cables for the businesses on the right side by DDG
+ Installation or preparation for the installation of fiber-optic cables at the private properties on the left by Circet
+ Installation of new lighting cables including rearrangement of new lighting poles for better illumination by the MFN
+ partial replacement of the broken round curbs
+ Paving a new asphalt surface across the entire width of the sidewalk
