Inauguration of the Bachzwerge daycare center.
In brilliant sunshine in Rimpar, the new day-care center was officially inaugurated.
For the official inauguration, Mayor Bernhard Weidner was able to welcome, among others, the Bavarian State Minister for Digital Affairs Judith Gerlach, Member of the Bundestag Paul Lehrieder, District Administrator Thomas Eberth, Deputy District Administrator Karen Heußner, and mayors of neighboring municipalities.
Afterwards, the doors were open for viewing and the venue's team offered a great supporting program.
A true jewel that all contributors and participants can be proud of. For that, we say THANK YOU.
We wish the children and the team a wonderful time in kindergarten in their new „home“ 🙂

The interior and exterior of the „Kita Bachzwerge“ daycare center are continuing to take shape.
More planting was done outside.
The Kiss & Go parking spaces, the sidewalks, and the bus stop are in the final stretch.
Inside, final construction cleaning is currently underway.
The shrine was also re-erected.
Inside:
- the flooring is completely installed
- the door frames and interior doors are installed on the upper floor
– the built-in wardrobes on the upper floor are installed
– the kindergarten kitchens are installed
– the various child seat benches by the windows are manufactured
– the lamps are in final assembly
– the cloakrooms in the kindergarten area are installed

Since the beginning of the year, a lot has happened: screed work and drying have been completed, the installation of the sun protection on the street side is finished, the scaffolding on the street side has been dismantled, facade work on the street side is done, the drywall partitions have been erected, the rough electrical installation is complete, the interior walls have been plastered and prepared for the final coat of paint, the interior window sills have been installed, and work on the curtain-type ventilated facade and the steel staircase with railing is in the final phase. Meanwhile, the wall and floor tiles in the sanitary areas have been laid, and work on the suspended ceilings has begun. Landscaping (GaLa) work has started on the street side.

Interior work is currently underway, including electrical installations, pre-wall installations, ventilation installations, and drywall construction.
All the window frames are now set and the glass inserts installed.

Meanwhile, the tiles have been applied to the roof of the kindergarten in Bachgasse. The work is on schedule, and interior construction can begin soon.
Topping-out ceremony at the daycare center in Bachgasse in Rimpar
Another milestone for child care in the market town of Rimpar has been reached. In wonderful summer weather and with everyone in high spirits, the topping-out ceremony for the kindergarten in Bachgasse in Rimpar was celebrated just four months after the groundbreaking.
With a triple hip-hip-hooray for children, master builders and builders along with the shards of glass from emptied champagne glasses, good fortune is to move into the new daycare center building. During the topping-out speech, master carpenter Manuel Weißenberger thanked those in charge for hosting the topping-out ceremony. „A tradition that is maintained less and less. It is meant to be a „thank you“ to all the tradespeople involved in the construction,“ said Weißenberger. „The topping-out tree used to be decorated by virgins. In the past, instead of ribbons, small pouches containing the wages for the tradespeople were hung on the tree. The topping-out ceremony means that the structural engineer is now finished, the supporting framework is up, the construction is complete,“ said Weißenberger. Finally, he also presented chains to Mayor Bernhard Weidner and Birgit Kiesel from the Construction and Planning department. Another custom: Walking through the building with the chains clanking is said to ward off misfortune, such as lightning strikes, etc., and drive away evil spirits.
„Just recently we had the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony and a good four months later we are already celebrating the topping-out ceremony,“ said Mayor Bernhard Weidner. „Everything is on schedule and within budget.“ In this context, he expressly thanked his predecessor, Burkard Losert, who conceived this project and carried out the land acquisition. He emphasized the good and smooth cooperation between the municipality and the construction companies, which has contributed and continues to contribute to the rapid construction process and thus to the success of the project.
„As a municipality, we are glad that the number of children in Rimpar is growing and the day-care centers are accommodating more and more children,“ Weidner said. The stated goal of the municipality is for the children currently accommodated in emergency groups to move into the newly created rooms by the start of the 2023/24 kindergarten year, and for further capacities to be created as well. There is currently an emergency group for the nursery at Rappelkiste and an emergency group for the kindergarten at Kunterbunt Kindergarten.
In total, there will then be room for 50 children in two kindergarten groups and for 24 children in also two nursery groups. The costs are estimated at 3.24 million euros. Of this, 2.40 million euros will flow back to the municipality in subsidies and funding as part of the „Childcare Financing“ investment program. Rimpar already has four municipal kindergartens—the Schlossmühl, Schleifweg, Schäferei, and Waldkindergarten—all of which, except for the forest kindergarten, include nurseries.

The demand for childcare places in Rimpar has increased, not least due to the fact that in Bavaria every child from the age of one is entitled to a childcare place. Capacity utilization in the day-care facilities is gradually reaching its limits.
